Founding donor

At a young age, Joe Schniebs developed an interest in technology, spending time learning about computers, networking, and wireless communications. This early curiosity set him on a path toward a career that combined service and innovation. 

Joe lives in Northern Virginia with his wife of 23 years, Tina, and their two children—Adam, 7, and Anna, 5. His professional journey began in the U.S. Air Force and expanded over time to include technical targeting, geo-location, and digital identity management. His work has always been rooted in a sense of responsibility to help protect U.S. interests and is driven by a genuine belief in the power of innovation to shape a better tomorrow, both at home and abroad. 

In 2015, Joe founded Ridgeline International, where he now serves as Chief Technology Officer, providing solutions for government agencies. Under his leadership, Ridgeline has developed technologies that address evolving digital challenges and support critical operations. He is a frequent guest speaker, addressing business leaders, government officials, and policy advisors on technology, cybersecurity, and challenges of the digital age. 

As a founding donor of the Center for Applied Peace Strategies, Joe continues to support the exploration of how technology can contribute to conflict resolution and peacebuilding. His career and personal life reflect a commitment to using technology to make a positive impact.
